Cao has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in English, Chinese, and German and has been a principal author or co-author for important reports at both the national and international levels of governance. Her scientific interests focus on human resources (labor, migration, urbanization) and their interaction with agro-ecological changes and environment along with the economic and demographic transitions.ĭr.
